Did you know there is a new southern style biscuit restaurant in Orlando? Rise Southern Biscuits recently opened their second location in Central Florida (their first was in Winter Park) – with the newest location in downtown Orlando!
Located next to The Drake right by the Courthouse, they are open daily 7am-2pm.
Home of the “Best Dang Biscuits” since 2012, Rise recently won “Best Biscuits in the US” by Food & Wine Magazine for their fresh, made-in-house, pillowy, warm-buttered Southern biscuits.
The chicken at Rise is tenderized, brined in buttermilk, fried to golden-brown perfection. Donut flavors range from Maple Bacon Flavored to Cheerwine donuts but they are made in Limited quantities every morning – so once they’re gone – they’re gone for the day! They also have a fantastic sweet-glazed blueberry biscuit that is a must try for sweets lovers.
At Rise, orders can be placed online via the RISE app and website or via kiosks in the restaurant. Convenient pickup is also available thru heated food lockers / hot boxes – just like those automats from NYC back in the day. Veggie “Chicken” or “sausage” are also available.
