NEW: Slap! Hand-Ripped Noodles Now Open in Orlando, Featuring Xian Style Biang Biang Noodles

Slap! Hand-Ripped Noodles is a new restaurant in Orlando specializing in hand-pulled noodles, located at 6532 Carrier Drive, Suite B, Orlando, FL 32819.

Highlights include fresh, thick, hand-ripped noodles (also known as biang biang noodles), along with chicken and beef skewers, cumin and beef dumplings, and crispy pancake sandwiches. They also have massive beef short rib add-ons for about $8 which are absolutely worth it – flavorful and tender – a must!

Biang Biang noodles are a type of hand pulled noodle from Shaanxi province, specifically the ancient Chinese capital city of Xian, and known for their long, wide and thick belt like shape.

You can watch the chefs literally slap the dough to make the noodles right in front of your eyes, with portions that are large and hearty.

Even though they’re located right off touristy International Drive, the vibe and decor is very intimate and has a modern Chinese feel. It’s one of my favorite new restaurants this year! Visit ASAP!

Trivia: The “biang” character is also known for being one of the most complex Chinese characters, with many strokes.
