James Beard Award Nominated Chef Brandon McGlamery to Open New Restaurant – The Reverie, An American Brasserie, in Winter Park

Chef Brandon McGlamery is collaborating with Foundry Hospitality’s Brandon Manly to establish The Reverie, an American brasserie in Winter Park, Florida. The new restaurant is planned to open in Fall 2026 in the location previously occupied by Chez Vincent.

A two-time James Beard nominee and author of 9 Courses, Brandon is known for shaping Winter Park’s modern culinary identity in Luma, Prato, & Lukes  through his leadership, creativity, and commitment to the craft. Chef McGlamery is also an alumni of The French Laundry, Chez Panisse, Bacchanalia, and multiple Michelin-star restaurants.

The restaurant will be an approachable American brasserie in the former Chez Vincent space.

Chef Brandon McGlamery is partnering with Brandon Manly, of Foundry Hospitality, on their latest restaurant concept, The Reverie.  The Reverie will be a refined yet approachable American Brasserie opening in the former Chez Vincent space in Winter Park’s Hannibal Square in the Fall of 2026. 

Chef McGlamery tells us the name is almost “reverent, yet something different – respectful and playful – or deep in a pleasant lost thought.”

After more than two decades playing a central role in elevating Winter Park’s restaurant scene, McGlamery is launching his own independent concept—reinforcing his deep roots in the community and bringing forward a vision that blends craft, comfort,  and meaningful hospitality.

“Winter Park has been my home for over twenty years, and there’s no place I’d rather introduce The Reverie,” said McGlamery. “It’s an honor to build our new concept in the same space that Vincent Gaglioni and his family built the legendary Chez Vincent”.  McGlamery added, “Collaborating with Brandon Manly and the team at Foundry Hospitality to deliver exceptional food grounded in connection, technique, and true hospitality is a tremendous thrill.”

Designed with warm textures and refined details by Architect Michael Weinwick and Designer Dave Thompson.  The Reverie will feature a vibrant dining room & bar, and a one-of-a-kind cellar-inspired private dining space. A curated beverage program will highlight classic cocktails with seasonal variations, and a thoughtful wine selection based on new world & old world vintages.
