Circosta’s is a nice little Italian restaurant in Oviedo in the same strip plaza as Par’s Mediterranean. It is a pretty unassuming place from the outside, a typical mom and pop stop, but inside the Italian food is quite exceptional.
I visited a couple of times once getting penne pasta a la vodka with chicken, a creamy tomatoy sauce that was just perfect. Another time I had the pasta florentine, made with a cheesy spinach sauce. It is rumored that the chef here is a student of Le Cordon Bleu academy, so I can see why it the food here has been prepared with such care.
There is a also quite a amazing little bakery display here, with cheesecakes, italian cannoli’s, and more. Though they are not made on the premises, these little pastries are also quite tasty.
