New “Da Sun” Ramen Opens in West Orlando

You may remember Sapporo Ramen – the original ramen shop of Orlando – closed with great fan fare – and long lines, late in 2019. This week, Da Sun Ramen opens in the same location in the Chinatown Plaza in West Orlando.

The menu is 99% the same as the old Sapporo ramen menu, including the familiar Tonkotsu, Shio, Shoyu, and Curry Ramen Noodles with a few new additions including Mazeman and Chuka ramen. Most of the staff from Sapporo has also been retained.

I did notice a few doors down a new ramen shop called “Tokyo Ramen” was under renovation in the old Cheng’s Family Taste restaurant. Will this area become Orlando’s new Ramen Street?
