Closing: Market on Magnolia in downtown Orlando to Close on November 25

Market on Magnolia announced on its Facebook page today that it will close in the coming week, with their last day on Wednesday, November 25th.

Per their facebook page, Market on Magnolia – “It’s with heavy hearts, and years of memories, that we have made the decision to close Market on Magnolia. Wednesday the 25th will be our last operating day. Come enjoy some great beers and food one last time in this location through the week! Happy hour starts Today at 2pm until closing day. Thanks for 12 great years (Forty 7 Clothing, Frank & Steins, Market on Magnolia)”

Owner Pete Downing tells us that the closing is a combination due to issues with the current environment in downtown Orlando as well as issues coming to agreement with the landlord.

Mr. Downing recently bought Wally’s and is also opening Gatlin Hall Brewing that will house Da Kine Poké. Gatlin Hall Brewery will be opening in the SODO area, with an award winning head brewer, promising to have great beer, a beer garden and three local food vendors inside the brewery.

Located at 150 S. Magnolia Ave. Orlando, FL 32801, Market On Magnolia is Downtown Orlando’s first mixed used food and beverage facility with a full bar featuring 40 draft beers, signature craft cocktails and wine, and also 3 food vendors: Da Kine Poke, Gnarly Barley, and 081 Wood Fired Pizzas. The market also featured sport 25 TV’s for all sports viewing and host a Sat and Sun brunch.
