First Look: Newly expanded, renovated Kabooki Sushi on Colonial Drive

Kabooki Sushi unveiled its newly renovated and expanded building on Tuesday night during a friends and family event.

Located across from the Fashion Square Mall at the corner of Maguire Blvd and Colonial Drive, Kabooki has essentially doubled in size at 3,000 sq. ft. and has added a full liquor bar, lounge area and izakaya late night menu.

Owner Henry Moso, Orlando’s first and only James Beard Rising Star Chef of the Year nominee, has been working hard throughout the pandemic plotting and building out the expansion of his beloved original location.  His second location, which opened last summer in Bayhill Plaza at 7705 Turkey Lake Road, has been well-received by guests and deemed one of the best sushi restaurants in the area.

Kabooki Sushi v2.0 will be in soft opening mode today through Saturday and will fully open for dinner service starting this Sunday.
