Back by popular demand, Morimoto Asia is proud to announce that the 7th Ramen Rumble will take place on Monday, Jan. 27.
Way back in 2016, we at TastyChomps partnered with Good Salt Restaurant Group to host the first ever Ramen Rumble at The Osprey in Baldwin Park.
This year, the electrifying culinary competition continues on at Morimoto Asia, bringing together five of Central Florida’s best and brightest chefs, who will present a unique style of ramen, each made with creative toppings and textures for guests to sample and vote on.
Participating Chefs will compete for the championship title of “Ramen Royalty of Central Florida,” plus bragging rights and the coveted “Broth Belt” trophy.
This year’s line up of participating restaurants and chefs include notable names like Chef Nikk Burton of The Monroe, Chef David Tsan of Norigami, Chef Tatsuki Takayama of WA Ramen, Chef Eliot Hillis of Red Panda Noodle and Chef Jamie Riccardo Martinez of Tutto Italia.
Ramen Rumble is presented in partnership with event founders, Sue and Jason Chin of Good Salt Restaurant Group, and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Give Kids the World.
Tickets are now on sale, starting at $95++ for general admission, with VIP Booths starting at $650++. Two seatings at 5:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. are available.
