- 1 lb ground beef or lamb
- 1 egg, lightly whisked
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp dill seed
- 2 tsp ground coriander
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 3 garlic cloves, crushed and chopped
- 1 tbsp chopped mint
- 1 tbsp chopped parsley
- 1 tbsp chopped onion
- Salt and pepper to taste

Inspired by a recent visit to the Spice Road Table at the Morocco Pavilion at Disney’s EPCOT – I love the smell and taste of these little meatballs filled with middle eastern spices and flavors. The recipe is easy to do and perfect for busy growing families! Serve with some flatbread and yogurt! Lamb can be substituted for beef if desired.
- Mix the garlic into the beef along with the egg, mint, onion, parsley, coriander, cumin, cinnamon, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl until well blended.
- Form the mixture into balls, then flatten into a 1 inch oval
- Place the kebabs onto a baking sheet, cover, and refrigerate at least 30 minutes, or up to 12 hours.
- Lightly oil a pan and heat
- Cook for 3-4 mins each side, only turning when they are well sealed or the meat will stick to the pan.
Serve with some flatbread and yogurt or tzatiki or tahini sauce and some Lebanese rice !
