The Celeste hotel is a part of the Marriott family Tribute Portfolio, located right on the UCF campus in east Orlando, and home to one of the finest new restaurants in Orlando right now.

With an emphasis on fresh, locally sourced food and the inspiring culinary genius of Chef Mike Trudnak, Aurora is the signature Celeste Hotel restaurant experience.

Despite opening in 2020 at the height of the pandemic, Aurora has really found its stride under the leadership of Chef Trudnak.

They are probably most known for their social media viral “Supernova” dessert made with a dark chocolate dome that implodes from a pour over of hot rum flamed caramel exposing vanilla bean ice cream and smashed raspberry, served on a rocky Ghiradelli brownie “planet” bed and candied walnut.

Chef Mike and the Aurora team are taking reservations now for their special Thanksgiving Day menu (which features a “white chocolate” version of the Supernova dessert) and we recently had a chance to preview the menu. The dishes were superb and probably will be the best thing being served Thanksgiving day – no offense to the home cooks out there! Delightfully, there is also quite the lovely selection of hearty vegetarian friendly dishes on the menu as well for those vegetarians in your life. Make sure to RSVP ASAP as this meal will likely sell out.
