One of my favorite bakeries in town, Iced Bakery, recently found out they have made finalist status in the food category in Martha Stewart’s American Made Awards, the only bakery in central Florida nominated and presented with finalist status.
I am so very excited for them in the competition!
Martha Stewart’s American Made honors makers, small-business owners, and creative entrepreneurs in the fields of crafts, design, food, and style. American Made Award finalists were chosen from more than 3,000 nominees.
Following their nomination into the awards on September 29, 2104, a panel of judges from Martha Stewart Living magazine selected finalists in the food category. Judges include Thomas Joseph, Director of Food Product Development, Sarah Carey, Food Editor at Large, Lucinda Scala Quinn, Food Executive Editorial Editor & Jennifer Aaronson, Food Editorial Editor.
Martha Stewart presides as head judge.
Iced Bakery was founded in 2010 by foodpreneurs Marc Adams & Rod Gambassi. Modernizing family recipes led to the creation of Iced Bakery’s extensive sweet and savory menu including award winning cakes.
Voting for the final awards begins Sept 15 and ends on Oct 3. http://www.marthastewart.com/americanmade/nominee/88633/food/iced-bakery
