#407Dates in partnership with Orange County and Visit Orlando

If you’re like most Central Floridians, you’re more than ready for non-essential travel and safety measures to end, even while understanding that they’re designed to keep us and our loved ones healthy. Still, one can only take so many same-old evenings before the need for something more exciting becomes too strong to ignore. That’s where #407Dates — aka #407Dates — comes in!

Named after the longtime Orange County area code, and created in partnership by Orange County and Visit Orlando, this new program invites you to order takeout or delivery from hundreds of restaurants featured on Orlando To Go (or your favorite local restaurants if you’re not in the area), purchase flowers and candy from local businesses, and participate in fun virtual events from Orlando, ranging from Orlando trivia to intimate musical performances, for three weekends starting May 8.

Whether it’s with your spouse, romantic partner, child or friends, everyone is encouraged to join in and carve out some quality time for a great meal and fun Orlando entertainment. Read on for details and make plans to enjoy an unforgettable evening in with #407Dates!

As part of #407Dates, you’re invited to share photos of your virtual date night with the hashtags #407Dates and #OrlandoToGo with @VisitOrlando’s and @OrangeCoFL’s social media channels.

Around Central Florida, restaurants are supporting #407Dates by offering a variety of date-night takeout and delivery specials for every taste and budget. Refer to the bottom of this blog for details, or click here if you can’t wait to see what’s cooking. Don’t live in Orlando but still want to participate?
