The Dark Séance: A Haunted Dinner Experience at The Orlando Forum of Fear with Chef Chuck Cobb of Git-N-Messy BBQ

The Orlando Forum of Fear on International Drive is pleased to announce the opening of the multi-sensory event, “The Dark Seance: A Haunted Dinner Experience,” with culinary preparations by Chef Chuck Cobb of Git-N-Messy BBQ, as seen on “Live with Kelly and Ryan”.

When guests arrive for The Dark Séance, they will be escorted to a Victorian dining room where they will be seated only with their immediate party.  The floorplan of the room will change depending on the reservations made for that evening to ensure six-foot distancing between tables for public safety.  The room is full of surprises, and no one is really sure what might happen during the course of the evening.  What is for sure is that guests are in for some delicious dining by Git-N-Messy BBQ’s Chef Chuck Cobb.

Guests will be contacted prior to their reservation time to make their dinner selection and can also opt for several upgrades, including two upgraded appetizers: Shrimp Cocktail with Horseradish Sauce for $11.95, Seafood-Stuffed Mushrooms for $11.95, or a Surf & Turf entrée upgrade, which includes a six-ounce Filet Mignon with four-ounce lobster tail for $24.95.

This is an intense theatrical experience and no one under 16 will be admitted unless under direct supervision of a consenting adult.  Each week ‘Mediums’ and hosts will share a different story and the performance will change allowing guests who survive the first time to return again and again. The only way in is from the other side.

Reservations are required for the two seatings (6 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.) and tickets start at $87.50.  The admission price includes a four-course meal, entertainment and a trip through the Tunnel of the Damned haunted maze created and executed by Halloween Horror Nights legends Patrick Braillard and Kim Grommol.

Festive spooky cocktail attire is encouraged so I arrived dressed as Wednesday Addams.

Chef Chuck Cobb did an exceptional job with dinner service.  My dining companion and I were satisfied with all of our dishes from start to finish.  Dinner photos below:

Blue Cheese Wedge Salad with crumbled bacon, tomato and house-made blue cheese dressing.

Seafood Stuffed Mushrooms

Fried Calamari with pepperoncini-lemon butter dipping sauce.

Cedar Plank Salmon with roasted vegetables and sun dried tomato risotto.

Surf and Turf – 6-oz filet mignon with a 4-oz lobster tail seasonal vegetables and roasted fingerling potatoes.

Raspberry-Passionfruit Lava Cake

Reservations for The Dark Séance can be made at DarkSeance.com or at TunnelOfTheDamned.com.
