So this past weekend, the Orlando Festival of Bacon was held at the Festival Park in the heart of Orlando. Thousands of people attended and thousands of samples of bacon were given out and bacon dishes sold. But many attendees noted that they were disappointed. Some had to wait in lines that were too long or were upset at the cost of the entry to the festival and then having to pay for more bacon products once inside. It’s the first year after all – I think the organizers can take what they learned this year and apply it and make things better for next year. So, what would you suggest to them to improve for next year? Maybe they will listen and take heed. Comment below!

So, what would you suggest to them to improve for next year?
I will sugest that they do not charge so much for the entrance $35 per ticket seems very stiff price for what they offered. This was in my opinion an expensive food truck event. The only drinks they served was alcohol, sodas and water. The body needs to replenish the electrolytes that the body loses in a very hot day. My son got dizzy because they had no Gatorade or Powerade to drink. Also, no re-entry was allowed. We felt like we were in a concentration camp. My son purchased his ticket thru Eventbrite and it was posted on the Bacon Festival Official page that those that purchase the tickets thru this venue will get ten bacon dollars, such was not the case! Not only did they stole our money but they also lied to us. When I question them thru their website they were only giving me excuse after excuse! Never a valid reason for the lack of concern or commitment to make our day memorable. Total RIP OFF!!
